Piltdown Pond is surrounded by Piltdown golf course, one small section of bank is out of bounds as it makes up part of the fairway to the 3rd hole of the course. The lake fishes well all year thanks to its shallow 3ft depths. The Carp and Pike both top 20lbs with a good head of Bream and Silvers.
Normal feeder and ground bait will attract the Bream and Carp, worms, maggots, corn, casters, bread, and pellets all work well. No keepnets or sacks.
