Deaks Lane

Brief description of fishery:

Deaks Lane comprises of two ponds (top and bottom) please note the Top Pond is currently out of action and some excellent fishing can be had on both. Deaks Lane is one of Haywards Heath and District Angling Societies most improved coarse fisheries and has undergone extensive work over the last few years with new swims being created and reinforced including the “Box Swim” On the top lake. Also bark was put down on the track around the two ponds to allow for ease of access. The bottom pond has been re-stocked with carp in the region of 3oz to 6lb+. One of our smaller venues but popular with the match & pleasure anglers yet can also throw up the occasional bigger fish as well as a number of brown trout that have got into the water via the streams feeding it.
